How long have you been in business?
Digital Design was established in 1990 but I have been in the photography, advertising, marketing and internet business with a variety of firms since 1980.
What are your rates? I don't have fixed rates but prefer to quote on each job individually. Hourly rates range from $40/hr up to $120/hr depending on the type of work and whether or not it involves hazardous environments. Click on the "Pricing" link in the menu at the top of the page to obtain a quote for your project.
I have received a quote but it is much lower than other places I got a quote from. Why is that? I am a small home based business, and so my overhead is much lower than other companies that have to pay for expensive office space and staff. I pass on these savings to my clients.
If you are a small home based business, how can you quote on large projects? I handle large projects by bringing together a team of experts, many of whom are also small business owners. The project is broken down into smaller sections and delegated to the team members. It is like having a large staff but without the high overhead and so your cost for the total project is far below what can be done by a large firm.
What forms of payment do you accept? We can take all of the major credit cards, Pay Pal or cheques.
What are your billing terms? For new, unestablished clients or for large projects that will consume up front resources, I require a 50% retainer with the balance upon completion of the project. For established clients, I will issue an invoice and accept payment within 30 days.
